The following events will be held throughout the year, date and times will be notified by Phil or the organiser of the event on the frequent flyers WhatsApp group and by email a few days before the event. This year the committee decided to dispense with the traditional program with fixed dates because our wonderful British weather has a habit of cancelling our organised events! It is expected that the listing below will develop as the year progresses.
· Club gliding organised by Darren (generally first Sunday of the month, April to September).
· This year’s club model, BIG FUN organised by Simon. Concours D’Elegance (static judging) is being held at Carey Hall for 19:15 hrs on Thursday 9th March.
· German day, scale or otherwise.
· EDF jets.
· Vintage Models.
· Models with oily IC engines, glow, diesel or petrol.
· Scale, any period and size or contruction.
· Bi-plane events.
· World wars 1914-1945.
· 4 minute flight, take off to landing (estimated by the pilot) nearest time wins.
· Spot landing.
