January Sunshine (At last!)

The model may look small but it was the background that mattered!

Wednesday January 12th was the sort of day we all pray for, blue skies and a gentle north-east wind; idyllic. Admittedly, the patch was a little soggy due to the previous days and days of relentless precipitation, and the temperature, low – but we didn’t let all that trouble us! A good day’s flying was enjoyed by those who were able to make it.

The photos below record the flavour of the day……

..and Fuzz with his Tundra; ahh, the concentration, beads of sweat dripping – or might it be melting ice?!
Phil assists Roly with his new model. It made a few feet initially but did better later!
A full-sized Bovington visitor!
Fuzz’s elegant ?? appreciated the conditions.
Peter’s twin EDF conversion continued to perform well.
Your webmaster’s slightly battered Vampire appreciated the calm conditions.
Miss Piggy was incandescent (when is she not?!) regarding her first-flight-of-the-day-engine-bearing-failure! She made it home okay though.

All in all, yet another great flying day at Trigon!!
