MAKE YOUR OWN DEPRON GLIDER AND FLY THE FURTHEST!
You will be provided with materials to make the plane ( but see later as to what YOU need to bring ). 20 mins will be allowed for construction.
You will then be allowed to Chuck your aeroplane as far as possible. ,When it comes to rest, the distance will be noted. As each contestant has his “ attempt” the distance marker will gradually be advanced. Time allowing, after 3 rounds, the winner will be the furthest travelled model.
The advantage of this set up is that no “ judging opinion” is needed!

Depron sheets in 3 mm and 6 mm thickness of suitable size.
A short strip of balsa to stiffen fuselage.
Start line marker; tape line on floor.
Extension cables for glue guns.
Big set square to cut foam accurately.

Sharp craft knife….( blunt ones tear foam); ruler & set square.
Cutting mat.

Glue …Uhu Por Hot glue gun…foam friendly Cyano.
