Sunday 31st March initially looked slightly doubtful weather wise but it all came good and a great day was enjoyed by everyone, with some excellent times recorded. Peter Marshall made a grand job of organising the day and has composed a short script summarising his observations and the results; so, over to Peter………
Firstly let me thank all the competitors for coming up to Trigon to give it a go today in the tricky conditions that had been thrown at us. I nearly cancelled but it seemed a good idea to give it a go, and what a go it was. Some were lucky with the conditions and some were less lucky but I think everyone that took part had a good time trying to achieve a good time.
I did try to get a country view of the site twice by inadvertently putting full flap down on launch , not once but twice but got away with the view of the pits area .
Well done to Fuzz for giving it a go as he hand only flown a glider once before, a little more practice and I think you will get there and be competing and winning.
Welcome back to Dick Bellis this year and well done to his wife for putting up with boring old people talking about flying (nice to meet you).

RESULTS for our P2K 31 March 2109 competition are as follows……
8th Goeff well done with only 1 flight 172 points.
7th Fuzz with 188 points.
6th Dick with 352 points.
5th with Darren with 408 points.
4th Peter with 416 points.
3rd with 438 points Phil Burton (who is newly returned), well done.
2nd with 700 points David our beloved Chairman.
1st Last but not least in the listing, Simon with a whopping 1317 points, even after having to return to the launch site due to a timing error!
Well done all it was a pleasure to run the event today and I look forward to the next competition on the 12th April. Hopefully conditions will be a little more favourable to us.
