On Sunday 15th of March 2020 several club members attended the popular table top sale at Romsey in Hampshire; our esteemed Secretary, Simon, reports…..
The event was scheduled to start at 08:30 and finish at 12:30.
We arrived at 08:25, to be greeted by happy modellers clutching their recently purchased bargains…………..so much for the 08:30 start!.
There was a £4.00 entry fee.
Having not been to one of these events before, I was suitably impressed by the array and selection of modelling items for sale.
Fellow club members commented on the numbers being down on previous years, which came as no surprise.
There were several “Dealers” with a vast range of stock, down to the single table with a few forlorn odds and ends scattered about.
There were a LOT of ic engines and associated parts selling for next to nothing, but by and large (apart from a few “nice” models), most of the airframes were in the “tired” category.
We were tempted by a HUGE Piper Cub, 100% ready to go….but in the end decided against it.

We enjoyed the morning out, and all in all an interesting event.
